Booking confirms that the parent, guardian, or adult student has read and accepted the tutoring policies below.
Payment is due before the lesson unless another arrangement has been confirmed in writing. Single lessons must be paid at booking or before the scheduled start time. Lesson packages are paid in advance unless an agreed installment arrangement is confirmed.
Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled without penalty, subject to availability. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full, except in emergencies or exceptional circumstances at the tutor’s discretion.
If a student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time unless another arrangement is possible. Late arrival does not reduce the lesson fee. If the tutor is late, the missed time will be added to the lesson or rescheduled.
If a student misses a lesson without notice, the lesson may be charged in full. Repeated missed lessons may result in refusal of future bookings.
Lesson packages are intended for regular tutoring and should be used within the agreed period. Unused lessons do not carry forward indefinitely unless confirmed in writing. Single lessons already delivered are non-refundable. Approved refunds for unused package lessons may be adjusted to reflect lessons already used at the standard single-lesson rate.
For minors, a parent or guardian may communicate about scheduling, progress, and concerns. Parent presence during lessons is allowed when helpful, but the session should remain focused and not be interrupted unnecessarily. For adult students, communication is directly with the student unless they request otherwise.
Online lessons must not be recorded by the student, parent, or tutor unless all parties give clear prior consent. Any approved recording is for personal learning use only and must not be shared.
Tutoring is intended to support understanding, skill development, and independent work. The tutor will not complete assignments, tests, quizzes, or graded assessments on behalf of a student.
Personal information such as names, contact details, lesson notes, and scheduling records is used only for tutoring, communication, and administration. Student information is handled confidentially and is not shared with third parties unless required by law or needed for agreed services such as scheduling or payment platforms.
